Yes, all U.S. citizens traveling to attend our wedding in Scotland will need a valid passport.

Starting January 8, 2025, U.S. citizens will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter the UK for tourism travel purposes. You can find more information about the new requirements and how to apply on the UK Government website.

Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay in the United Kingdom. However, if you plan to travel to other countries after the wedding, keep in mind that some destinations require your passport to be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. Be sure to check the specific requirements for any additional destinations to avoid disruptions to your plans.

June in Scotland is beautiful but can be a bit chilly! On average, temperatures range from 50°F to 65°F (10°C to 18°C) during the day, and dip to 45°F to 48°F (7°C to 9°C) at night. While it's often sunny, there can be occasional rain showers, so we recommend bringing a light jacket and an umbrella just in case. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting), while dinner and dancing will take place indoors. The sun sets around 10:30 pm, so outdoor celebrations may continue into the evening. Please dress accordingly and layer up for warmth and comfort!

The dress code is cocktail attire! For women, this means cocktail dresses or more formal options. For men, a suit and tie, slacks with a button-down and blazer, or even a kilt! If you'd like to join the kilt crew, be sure to select 'Accept' when completing your RSVP to reserve one with the group.

As all events will take place at the venue, transportation from Kelso to SCHLOSS Roxburghe will not be provided. Please arrange your transportation in advance with one of the recommended cab companies listed below, as rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are NOT available in the area.

Yes, parking is available at the hotel. SCHLOSS Roxburghe has a dedicated parking lot for guests.

To ensure all of our guests can celebrate worry-free, we kindly request that no children attend the wedding ceremony or the reception afterward.
